PW210 – Compact Power for the Next Generation of Helicopters

Lightweight Efficiency, Engineered with Syntelli

The PW210 is a 1,100 shaft horsepower-class engine developed by Pratt & Whitney Canada, specifically designed to power the new era of advanced helicopters. Combining cutting-edge materials and digital control technologies, the PW210 series delivers notable improvements in fuel consumption, power-to-weight ratio, and environmental emissions.
The PW210S variant, which powers the Sikorsky S-76D, received its type certificate in 2011 and entered service in 2013. The PW210A variant, used in the Leonardo AW169 (formerly AgustaWestland), was certified in 2014 and entered commercial operation in 2015.
As a risk-sharing partner, Syntelli is actively involved in the design, development, and manufacturing of the power turbine—a core engine component that drives efficiency, responsiveness, and reliability in rotary-wing aircraft operating across the United Arab Emirates and beyond.
