PW4000 – Trusted Power for Wide-Body Excellence
Engineered for Performance, Supported by Syntelli
The PW4000 is a large-class turbofan engine delivering 25 to 45 tons of thrust, originally developed by Pratt & Whitney (U.S.) to meet the demands of high-capacity, long-haul aircraft. Since its market introduction in 1987, the PW4000 has powered a wide range of aircraft including the Boeing 747, 767, 777, MD-11, and Airbus A300, A310, and A330.
With its proven reliability and service track record, the PW4000 remains a cornerstone of global commercial aviation.
As a risk-sharing partner, Syntelli plays a key role in this program by designing and manufacturing core components such as the compressor, turbine, and combustor. This contribution ensures superior engine efficiency, durability, and compliance with environmental standards—tailored to support airline operations across the United Arab Emirates.
